They returned to Charleston Animal Society today and were spayed/neutered and given their adoption exams. Now, they have returned to their foster home as Adoption Ambassadors. The Adoption Ambassador program is a program that allows felines and canines to go into a foster home while the foster family promotes the animal(s) to find an adopting family. The foster home will complete the adoption paperwork on behalf of Charleston Animal Society. All adoptions done through this program include all the benefits of adoptions done at the shelter or off-site adoption events. For the kittens, their adoption fee includes spay or neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and much more. For us personally, we conduct meet and greets in our home so prospective families can see the kittens in their most comfortable environment. Having fosters adopted in this manner also helps keep adoption cages open for others at the shelter who do not have a foster family to be their Adoption Ambassador.
Louis and Lena have already found their family and they are patiently waiting to take them to the forever home. Ella and Etta will be looking forward to their meetings with potential adopters. Anyone interested in Ella and Etta can contact either Courtney, the Adoption Manager at CAS (email firstname.lastname@example.org or 843-329-1577) or Adopt Charleston Cats (Contact Us ability is found on our home page, or comment to this blog posting). Please take a moment to view each kittens' own webpage to learn more about them and see lots of photos...they can be found under the Charleston Animal Society navigation bar.
It's always a great feeling to raise these small creatures into amazing future pets. We hope you enjoy seeing and reading about them. Please remember .... don't shop, ADOPT! There are so many homeless animals in our shelters waiting for animal lovers like you.
