Meet the McClure foster kittens!
Brought to you by the
Charleston Animal Society
Periwinkle
ADOPTED DECEMBER 16, 2017
This kitten is part of "Operation Whiskers", a part of the Adoption Ambassador program at Charleston Animal Society. Are you asking yourself, "What is an Adoption Ambassador?" Adoption Ambassador is a program where foster families take animals into their homes and try to get them adopted; the adoption may take place outside of the shelter environment and is processed by the foster parent on CAS's behalf.

Foster mom tells us the following about Periwinkle:
Female short-haired Tabby with a heart of gold when it comes to her humans. Her markings remind me of a Bengal and she has such soft fur. Her most notorious marking is her "belt" of spots across her belly, which she offers up for belly rubs at a moments notice. She is a loving purr-box filled with snuggles and appreciation for her family.
She would do well in a home with dogs, cats, and other kittens. While she has not had interaction with smaller children it would seem that she would be more likely based on her personality to be accommodating. She would love to have a furbaby sibling as she "mothers" the group of fosters we currently have. She loves playing with toys and rays of sunshine through the window to take afternoon naps. She isn't much of a talker but she makes up for that with crawling into your lap or shoulder and purring for petting and love.
