Pet Helpers

Pet Helpers was founded in 1978 and is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 Rescue and Adoption Center and low-cost Spay/Neuter & Veterinary Center that serves communities across the Lowcountry.  Their mission is to end the euthanasia of all adoptable cats and dogs by keeping all animals until adopted; providing low cost spay/neuter surgeries; offering humane education programs; pursuing animal-cruelty prosecution; and initiating animal-welfare legislation.

Below are some, but not all, of the recent pictures made while visiting the adoptable cats at Pet Helpers.  It is my pleasure to share these for your viewing pleasure, but won't you please go to Pet Helpers and visit their cat rooms for yourself?  Pet Helpers is located on Folly Road.  Enjoy!

Adopt Charleston Cats highlights some of the cats and kittens currently in the care of Charleston Animal Society, Pet Helpers, and Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary located in Charleston County, South Carolina. More are available for adoption, but we will show a few that are either on an adoption floor, Pounce Cat Cafe + Wine Bar, available for adoption from their foster home, or soon to be available for adoption. We also highlight adoptable felines available through individuals (primarily rescuers/TNR) and these animals are fully vetted. Periodically, we will also highlight kittens and cats available for adoption through agencies from surrounding counties.
Please consider adoption by visiting each facilities' website to learn how you can visit and meet your next furry friend or contact us to be connected to a rescuer.
Thank you for looking.
